Re the Mailbag and Osman - his books are genuinely excellent; he’s someone who worked behind the scenes on TV for decades before becoming a ‘personality’ pretty much by chance.
His books are incredibly BRITISH so I’m not surprised to hear that they’re not yet everywhere in the US.
Also re Yarros - I don't think I can comment with a photo, but I was just in Waterstones and there were a few (non-spredge) hardbacks of both Fourth Wing and Iron Flame in the hardback sale. From that I guess the phenomenon has been big, but not AS big as expected.
I definitely feel like the whole spredge thing is now a mainstream import, with waterstones in the UK jumping on the bandwagon and B&N following on the train. They used to be more exclusive with the likes of Fairyloot and Illumicrate and other sub boxes that have been going on for years! I do like that publishers are doing indie bookshop exclusive edges as well though!
This is definitely the right time to start a newsletter? Loved the mailbag!

Mailbag and responses were *chef’s kiss*

Loved the mailbag section. LoL
Happy for this new platform! I am looking forward to the content and engaging w/other listeners.
I'd rather hear "moist" than "spredges." There, I said it. #JusticeForRebecca
This whole thing just gave me so much joy. I’m here for all of it.
